HOLD SPACE FOR TRANSFORMATION
Facilitating breathwork has been the most rewarding journey of my life, both personally and professionally. Working with thousands of people across methodologies, in settings ranging from mountaintops to maximum security prisons, the response is always the same: life-affirming. The feeling I get is, too: contribution.
The purpose of this training will be to introduce the fundamentals of what makes for a safe, meaningful, and memorable breathwork experience for participants. A uniquely wide range of methodologies are discussed this training - conscious connected breathing, performance breathing, tummo, breath retention, yogic breathing, and even a dab of freediving. We'll navigate with humor, heart, camaraderie, and a keen awareness of how we can support ourselves in the process of giving to others.
It's my intention that you leave the weekend confident to begin a lifelong journey of facilitating breathwork in whatever setting you choose. The world is your oyster.
WHAT WE'LL COVER
I believe a fundamental understanding of the power of our breath is crucial, not only in facilitating breathwork experiences, but in living an optimal life. Breathing properly can turn anxiety to calm, sickness to health, and inform everything from energy levels to heart health, asthma, and dental hygiene. We'll start with an overview of science and everyday breathing practices. From there, we'll learn the necessary protocols (and a bit of magic sauce) to host a safe, transformational breathwork session. Lastly, we'll go through some practical considerations for bringing your own breathwork into the world.

There are people who are really good at what they do, and then there are people who are born to do what they do. Chris is the latter. He makes breathwork accessible, inspiring, fun, intriguing, and just a little weird, and in his training, prepares you to share your own version of this modality with the world. I really enjoyed learning from him and plan to continue to learn from him in whatever capacity possible.
His facilitator training, like his breathwork sessions, proved to be an authentic deep dive into breathwork - from the anatomy of breath, to the metaphysics of the experience, to how to safely hold space for others. Chris has a charisma that puts people at ease, and allows for community bonds to form within a short amount of time. His humble and grounded drive to guide you on your own personal journey is a welcomed reprieve from the abundance self proclaimed gurus and healers.
The Goldenair Breathwork course was eye opening and helpful. I got to experience breathing in a whole new way, and doing it with people that were equally as interested in the experience was so fulfilling. Chris is a master at supportive instruction. His passion for the work shows and his commitment to the students makes the experience truly unforgettable.
"Everything you do right now ripples outward and affects everyone. Your posture can shine your heart or transmit anxiety. Your breath can radiate love or muddy the room in depression. Your glance can awaken joy. Your words can inspire freedom. Your every act can open hearts and minds.” - David Deida
